This is a cool little game — the Kerning Game. Anyone interested in typography or printing knows about kerning — the variable space between letters that makes a font look coherent and readable. (And anyone old enough to remember keylining, really knows about kerning.)
But what I really like about the game is that it is fun and simple, and really appropriate to helping people understand kerning. It is a good example of an educational game that does just what it should — explains the concept in a fun and engaging way. Reading about kerning is abstract. Actually kerning makes the concept concrete.
